They can target the code though. They'll inspect the code, find ways to break it, and then kill it that way.

The sooner we can get creators off of YouTube the better.

7 feels awfully low.

I have a touch base with my boss at least once every other week.

You must be a terrorist because that's MUSLIM MATH! Those are not Christian numbers and feel it necessary to report this comment to the FBI, the Federal Biblical Investigators.

Oh I love this but let's make the incentives better.

  • Every company gets a tax deduction for each employee that votes
  • Each locality, county, state gets a tax bonus from the federal government for every election it has and for each person who votes
  • each person who votes is eligible to receive a tax stimulus the following year

All of this can be done today. Voter participation information is actually available at the local level. It's why I always get fliers for Republicans since I vote in their primaries. (My vote is more effective there than in the Democratic primary)

TBF, the only thing stopping you from not wearing pants to the polls is the weather.

Isn't the OP the bull? It's the OP's wife's ex who is the cuck. I'm not agreeing with the asshole but I think the definitions are mixed up.

The problem is lack of consent.

If I'm buying less chips than the last time, I should be informed, not in fine print, but in obvious terms.

A few companies tried to pawn off their shrinkflation by going the health route. A journalist then asked, "Why, then, are you not advertising the health benefits of this new size?"

I wish I could find the interview because the spokesperson simply gaffed and showed that it was not about health. It was about money.

The weird thing is when the bill was being passed around in my state, I only found out when it was signed into law. I have no idea how the ACLU or other orgs didn't cause a fuss.

Several Democrats actually signed onto it. Wtf?!

I know...I know. I'm such a bad peon worker. I'll surrender myself to the police later this afternoon. I deserve the maximum punishment.

Probably very little.

I'm not up to speed on what Twitter is doing these days outside of what's reported here on lemmy.

Unless Musk starts saying things like "Polls are closing early so don't bother voting because Trump won" or things that will suppress votes, his actions and tweets are going to be categorized as political free speech, which has broad interpretation in the US. Sad, but true.

We, as well as our government officials, should remember that Twitter is not the public town square. It's a dumpster fire that is owned by a private entity that permits users to throw their shit into. That private entity is within their right to do whatever they want within the confines of the law.

I live in the US. If you live in a state or country that's totalitarian, then yes a VPN is probably a good idea, tor if you can handle the latency.

It's only a matter of time until both of those technologies are made illegal.

I remember when the lockdowns first hit. After about a month, the skies were clearer. I lived in the suburbs at the time and it was subtle but noticable. This was his things were supposed to be. Little traffic, less noise and smog pollution.

Return to office mandates killed it all.
