Republicans would crucify him.

Keep in mind that is why the Jewish leaders wanted him killed: because he spoke the truth

What are the odds of this vapid asshole saying "Australia is violating the first amendment!"

Even money?

Jack Donaghy was a millionaire, not a billionaire, I believe. And iirc, he didn't have seed money like many billionaires today.

He still believes in the traditional American dream and actually pushes back at Kabletown when they wanted to just collect their checks and not do any new initiatives.

He still exploits his workers, don't get me wrong. Though a lot of CEOs could learn a thing or two from him as he repeatedly showed that you need workers to make money.

So long as there is a risk of them reaccumilating wealth, no thank you. Yeet them into the sun.

Immigrants are used as a scapegoat for society's problems.

But money makes up for a lot of sins. They'll happily accept you into their cult if you have a lot of money.

You could be a cross dressing, transgender, homosexual immigrant who actually teaches kids about sex. But if you have money and you donate to them, they'll let it slide.

If you set up using compose and don't have the version pinned:

dockee compose down && docker compose pull jellyfin && docker compose up -d

Which year? Because the extremely subtle differences between versions make all the difference

If they are too big to fail, then they need to be nationalized.

All of these companies have two things in common: they socialize risks and liabilities and privatize profits.

To paraphrase Nixon:

"When you're a company, it's not illegal."

To paraphrase Trump:

"When you're a company, they just let you do it."

Subscriptions don't make their money. Advertisers do.

Until they start losing advertisers, they won't change a fucking thing.

He lacks political capital to do this.

Trump's cult makes up for A LOT. His attempt to usurp power will more than result in an executive official order to ensure his, and anyone who even has a hint of disloyalty, permanent compliance.

Harris and Trump have very different bases.

If Trump went to New York and shot a black person, his base wouldn't care whereas if Harris did, the Democrats would be in an uproar.

However, if Trump went to New York and gave people COVID shots, now his base would be fucking furious.

Both candidates are appealing to their base. It's just the Democratic base is a bunch of sane and rational people.
