I liked Cyberpunk's relationships. There's a moment after rescuing Saul, where Panem and V are drinking and can flirt, Panem has her legs on top of V, V can run their hand up Panem's thigh. If you're masculine it leads to a kiss and falling asleep together, if you're feminine it leads to a jarring shift in tone as Panem suddenly recoils realizing you're not joking and then awkwardly tries to diffuse the situation.

Even though it's a scene of rejection, it feels like a real lesbian experience, with all the discomfort attached.

They made all the love interests player-sexual (will romance regardless of gender), which upset reactionaries because "there's no straight option", because even if you play a guy and romance a lady, she could have romanced a lady too.

It's wild because player-sexual NPCs is kind of a step back from DA:I, that had explictly Bi characters (Iron Bull, Josephine), explicitly straight (Blackwall, Cassandra), explicitly gay (Dorian, Sera) and people who had limited romance options like Cullen (only female humans and Elves) and Solas (only female elf, but was meant to be bisexual but only to elves but cut due to time).

Fallout 4 is 9 years old and has player-sexual romances. The complaint about player-sexual relationships is that it erases queer identity and queer characters people can see. Having a character like Sera or Judy (from Cyberpunk) who is explicitly a lesbian etc. The argument for it, is if you don't you get silly things happening like Mass Effect having clearly queer or bisexual characters locked as straight.

That tweet about how Black Sabbath and KISS look and sound like someone mixed up their files making reality.

Semantic ambiguity in title made me think he used the air soft gun to kill the teen.

I thought Folsom wasn’t a primarily queer event, like there’s big representation due to San Fran and gay leather history, but it’s straights too,

Adjustment disorder is often used in psychiatry to say an event or thing has fucked your mental health and you’re not responding well, as opposed to say major depression or generalised anxiety disorder where everything could be ostensibly fine in your life, but you feel super depressed or anxious despite this.

I must stress when I say better, I'm not saying that she's morally better, or not a complete sociopath. But just saying for the Dems it might be better for them (winning and staying in power for multiple elections) to have an ambitious duck killer waiting in the wings whose ready to put a pillow on Joe's face and assume the presidency than Kamala.

But then again the Dems love to eat shit so this is probably fine for them.

Yeah the hair salad comb person who also posted feet as bait. I'm not saying she was good, normal or even a decent candidate, just probably better than Harris for the dems.

Yeah it seems like Klobuchar would have been the much better option for the Dems, had she not been directly linked to Derek Chauvin being able to kill George Floyd from acquitting him on a previous abuse of power he had done. She was probably equally megalomaniacal and strange in her own way, but you got the impression she ran a tight ship.

I remember seeing a post on reddit where someone said something like "In Russia, liberalism is seen as right wing in contrast to their former communism, so Russian imposters get confused and call right wing user liberals and liberals right wing"

Like going into the 2024 you could be like we're the party of the future, the Republicans are stuck in the past with their old loser. You could also distance her from anything Joe Biden does badly (like Palestine) and share credit with him for things like the inflation reduction act.

At the risk of seeming pro-Harris (I'm not), they definitely are/were.

They should have spent 4 years preparing to make her president. Or failing that just a better Vice-President. Yes she is weird and also likely benzo addicted. But you can smooth that out, you Pygmalion/King's Speech her. Get in the best stylists, vocal coaches, speech writer etc. Give her lots of PR softball wins to make her seem good.

Biden's brain is rotting day by day, he is getting worse. There's a chance Harris could get better. For Dems winning of course, not any meaningful change politically.

Plus if she was running for President you could find a strong appearing white male Vice-President to back her up (like they did Obama with Biden)
