So there is a limit, but it depends on how well the landlord gets along with the people making the decision, instead of being codified into law.

Here, a LL can evict a tenant who refuses to pay in less than a month. None of this 6 month wait baloney and then two postponements as the tenant games the system and continues to destroy the property. In AB if there is proof of wilful vandalism the eviction period is 24 hours.

This is better than some scenarios, but again seems ripe for abuse.

From my recollection, a Chevy bolt drivetrain has less than 5 moving parts and say 10 bearings. The complexity is in the electronic control systems. I hope to see more electronics repair shops doing board repairs because they’re really expensive as a unit.

It is not uncommon for employers to retain ownership of the material you produce, though it sounds like they’re expecting you may have a portfolio for the work you’re in. Explain the situation to the hiring manager.

Some people are curious. Others are not. Some people have hobbies. But I’m a firm believer that those two traits are the reason people say “I’m not handy” and then can’t do something as simple as screwing 8 screws into a captive nut. You have to try. I have no time for these people.

My mood dictates how I help new people, but I try to help them learn it rather than giving the answer, or give the answer in an explanatory way. But the key is that they’re asking for help with a problem, not shirking a task that is too hands-on for them to figure out.
