You think that's brave? I saw 6 cops take on a middle aged MAN! He had a camera and everything. They had to drag him away in handcuffs and he woke up part way to the truck so they had to stop and jump on him and slam their knees into his chest. So brave.
And once the unions got their pay off in 68 they said "fuck it."
Trade unions are counterrevolutionary unless they are explicitly revolutionary. If they are explicitly revolutionary they are illegalized.

I'm not sayin the protests aren't happening naturally. Just that they are being exacerbated and focused on because they don't look as bad as losing a proxy war. Propaganda is about focus and emphasis not truth and lies.
$60 billion doesn't help anything when there are no weapons to buy. Most of that money is to resupply American stocks of weapons and a significant percentage of that is being used to pay for stuff that was already delivered on credit. it isn't gonna make any difference and if it could make a difference it will take time, time ukraine doesn't have. The collapse is happening now.

How likely is it that the student protests are being encouraged by the biden admin and getting significant news cover to hide the collapse in ukraine? There is nothing biden can do to stop ukraine's collapse and it is really dreadful right now. His only move is to hide it. If biden can do some sort of "we see you, we hear you" move to stop the student protests that's a win and it is a win that people in america will really see and feel.
Even if he can't turn the protests into a win its still less damning than losing a proxy war after dumping hundreds of billions of dollars.
