Yep. Also left digg during their ad push fiasco to go to reddit.

That really deadly Spanish flu that happened during WW1 didn't even start near Spain. They were just the first ones to publicly be all like "hey, there's something going around killing a lot of people or getting them really sick really fast".

Most likely, as near as anyone trying to track down the origin of the Spanish flu is that it started in a small Kansas farm town and spread from there to the Fulton Kansas army training base, and on over to France.

It killed around 50,000,000 people. Had there been no war, it likely never would have even made it out of that Kansas town with like 1,000 people in it.

That's how reddit silences people. No more posts making it to the front page. Ban any other posts outside the one comment section for violating the rules, and ban the user who tried posting it.

Great color. Too fat.

This is an extra bullshit one, though. Like, zoom in on the tie for the biggest example. It didn't use a mosaic of pictures, so much as it just tinted over all the pictures to make them whatever color was needed.

Go up to random old person and take picture. All done.

We're gonna need a bigger gel blaster.

The OLED isn't overly hard. It's just overly long to bother with.

Well most of the other things he wants to be focused on fuck us over, so if he spends any time putting into half useless bullshit it means I'm just glad he's spending even a moments less time on anything else.

They want an established history showing you pay things you've agreed to pay. I've never made a lot of income, but I've always paid my bills on time, so even with a smaller cash flow I still have great records of always making sure I have enough to pay what I'm expected to pay, so I'm seen as reliable to any possible debtors.

Yep, and I was at that point years before getting a mortgage.

I got them to replace my roof like 4 years ago, but it was an argument that took a couple of months because they wanted to go around and spot replaced only the damaged shingles. I stayed nice and held my ground that doing so would look bad and thus diminish the value of my home. It was like pulling teeth, but I was able to talk with someone at state farm who felt like wanting me to get my way by speaking nicely without myself being a pushover.
