It's kind of weird because I don't eat at Arby's, but a few years back Arby's bought Buffalo Wild Wings??? I'm terribly confused because I feel like more people eat at Buffalo Wild & pay more to do so. Which begs the question: how in the hell does Arby's have the money to buy BWW? 🤔

I'll be honest, idk what Palantir is, it's my one blind spot. What do you have against Palantir, is it a Nestlé or something?

Ooooo. Kamala as CEO of Nestlé would be amazing. Two birds!

No, those things matter, I want all of those things to actually succeed & do well. CEO of...McDonald's, RC Cola, or Craftsman tool group company. They're not worth a shit since they sold out to China.

Republicans hate Newsom, and I watched as Newsom recently refused to condemn transing the kids. One of the biggest, easiest softball questions in the Republican world. I can all but personally guarantee you he's not going to run as a Republican. 😂 He'd crash out....so friggin hard.

I believe he's doing a lot of face time with Republicans, Conservatives in a bid to court the moderates & the middle. I also believe he's going to run for something, probably President. But he's going to portray himself and run as a "moderate", "common sense" Democrat. Just you wait & see.

I strongly encourage everyone to protect the things they love, download all of Wikipedia, screenshot & download all the things. It's a little paranoid, sure, but between all of us downloading & saving all our little pieces of the web & all its information, we effectively safeguard most of it from digital terrorism, tyranny, erasure. It costs very little, relatively speaking. Do your part & I'll do mine.

Fuck, the freedom. Root & custom ROM, running your damn device that you paid money for the way you want to. Imagine that. I stopped after rooting your phone killed Snapchat (because 3 idiots use Snap Pay or whatever), killed your tap pay wallet, killed Pokémon Go, etc etc etc. Then they tried telling people oh bro, just hide your root bro Majisk hide root. Like I need one more thing to do. 🙄 If I need to hide it, and most of the benefits of rooting have gone away/are incorporated into smartphones & no longer needed...I'm just going to stop rooting.

Then the microSD card expansion slot. Some try to say it's for waterproofing purposes, but they can use the same pop-out slot as the SIM card & it's nbd. Others say it's because the storage can sometimes be "unstable" & glitch, but over the years I've only had problems twice: just once with a Samsung, and then constantly with a shitty Motorola smartphone but that's on me because I bought a shitty Motorola smartphone. I think they killed it just because they could, because everybody else was killing it off & they knew they were going to get your money regardless. And then either pay a premium for extra on-board storage, or pay $10/mo for the rest of your life for "cloud" storage. Or both! Money, money, money, it's all about the money.

These guys got rid of everything that made an Android an Android, and if I've got problems with mid-tier phones, to spend $1K+ on a flagship Android. For crying out loud, I'm not spending $1K on an Android that doesn't even have microSD expansion, at that point you might as well buy an iPhone.

Fair enough, but if you do -- I don't even recommend anyone's first being a handgun. 12-ga shotgun is fantastic, versatile, and very effective.

I guess? Just searched, I'm seeing 22% to 32% for firearm ownership. I've got 6 handguns, myself. They're mighty nice.

Haha I found the picture of Gavin holding the gun; it looks like he's picking up dogshit.

Not too far from it. Wouldn't personally get a Sig. It's better than nothing, but I'd rather have something else.

Jesus H Christ, this man is 57 years old & just now got his first handgun?? And it was given to him, he didn't even buy it? Crazy.

IIRC, and idk it's been a long time & I didn't research it in-depth, I thought the issue was with the frame & it got all bent, cracked.

Rivian is actually just down the road from me. Part of its miracle construction is its frames; there's not a single bolt in its frames. Instead it's a bunch of VERY strong adhesives that are cured in an oven. 🙂

...which is super cool, until there's a frame issue from a fender bender/accident, and that makes true repair, full restoration complicated & expensive.

We also need to be completely fair & analytical: this isn't an issue with the vehicle being electric, but rather a build decision done by one company that affects all their electric vehicles. If they switched from adhesives to traditional welds, bolts that specific issue would go away.
