It's not that weird. Think of it like paying upfront for "the Cadillac service" where they treat you like a king versus someone else paying for the barebones service where they just do the bare minimum like at a car wash where you can buy different levels of a wash.

The only disconnect here is that tips are typically a percentage of your bill and you don't necessarily know what that'll be up-front but you could still commit to a specific percentage.

A vape shop I go to added it to their checkout kiosk. These people are literally just ringing up my purchase for me like any other retail cashier. I fucking hate it because they just stand there staring at me as I'm forced to decline the tip as if it's reflective of their service and not the fact that it's a bullshit system.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, disabling QoS shouldn't have any effect on your data cap because it's just speeding things up (bandwidth) rather than increasing the amount of data used. Think of it like taking a 100 mile trip at 100MPH versus 50MPH. You're doing the same distance just in half the time.

We're in that position because neither one of these parties is willing to do anything about it. Many people recognize this and just disengage because "what's the point? We're screwed either way."

This time around, both candidates were cheering on genocide, the rich, and anti-immigrant rhetoric which gave the clear advantage to the party with a base that supports these ideals while it predicably backfired for the candidate whose base doesn't support these ideals.

I'd be fine with the tarrif if there was a manufacturer actually trying to compete

What about all the Japanese, Korean, and European brands selling cars here? Is there another market outside of China, where everything is sold well below cost after being built using slave labor and lax environmental regulations, where new cars are as cheap as you want them to be? I think they are competing but the cars are just expensive to build. China is hiding that expense from buyers just long enough for them to try to take over every local market at which time there will be no reason to keep them subsidized because all the competition will be gone.

What about the rest of the industry in the US? I don't know why people focus on the two remaining US ICE manufacturers and ignore the dozens of other foreign manufacturers that sell vehicles here when discussing Chinese EVs.

That banana in the photo looks pretty damn fresh to me, how does that work when it's been some time since the piece was created?

Now, just to be clear, does this apply to both the upvoter/downvoter and the comment being left or just the upvoter/downvoter alone?

That sampled song by Breakwater (the 2005 Daft Punk clip) is pretty rad in its own right. Very futuristic sounding for a song from 1980 when electronic music was in its infancy.

Your quote states that rocket alarms sounded not that Hezbollah has broken the ceasefire.
