I'm saying there are simple and difficult chips to map out and the simple ones shouldn't need this by virtue of being simple.

Your analogy of using a computerized tool to complete a task doesn't really hold as the math you use a calculator for wouldn't be considered "simple math."

Damn bro, you're riding that line where it isn't clear whether you're serious or joking at least until the second comment. Enjoy the rush!

Totally but if we're talking about simple custom chips, my point still stands as there is nothing to compare a custom chip to and the simplicity doesn't seem to necessitate a LLM to map out.

SemiKong advertises a 20-30% reduction in time to market for new chip designs and a 20% improvement in first-time-right manufacturing scores.

Oh yeah? How is that accomplished when it can take a decade of development to get a new CPU out the door? Was this developed a decade ago?

What makes you think certain line items listed on a resume will guarantee that a person is going to be a better pick than someone else who doesn't have those things listed? Would you argue that someone who's been a cashier for 8 years is more qualified than someone who's been a cashier for 4 years, or do you think it wouldn't really make a difference?

You can argue that this is a racist initiative, but you could also argue that basing hiring decisions purely off of advantages and opportunities that some people receive inherently based off their ethnicity, in a country full of systemic racism, is also racist. There's also a big component of classism involved here as a result of hundreds of years of systemic racism that kept certain groups locked out of certain classes while other families have had opportunities to build on generational wealth and all the advantages that come along with it.

Especially days before the year is over, which is probably the worst time for it to happen.

I disagree that the electorate moved to the right in 2024. Trump got almost the same number of votes as he did in 2020 while Harris lost something like 10 million votes because she spent more time trying to court the right than caring about anyone left of "moderate" Republicans. Certain demographics may have shifted slightly but again the totals speak for themselves and it could just as easily be her pushing people away than Trump attracting them.

The DNC itself has been moving further and further right and it keeps costing them elections because the people that they're supposed to represent are sick and tired of being ignored in favor of the powerful and wealthy, yet they refuse to do anything about it even though they can see the result of this strategy over and over again just like the rest of us.

It's mentioned in the title in reference to some far-flung group not represented here. I'm talking about here on Lemmy.

Who are these people you're claiming said "don't vote for Harris?" You and I had plenty of back and fourths before and after the election about what a shit job Biden (and then Harris) was doing campaigning but I never once told anyone who to vote for and I don't recall anyone else doing that either. You seem to conflate "valid criticism of a candidate and their policies" to "telling you who to vote for" and that just isn't the case.

The DNC did that by running shit candidates back to back to back who either couldn't defeat a blatant, moronic fascist or just barely beat him by the skin of their teeth with the aid of a massive pandemic and economic turmoil fresh in everyone's mind. They sold out the whole country in favor of maintaining the status quo for their corporate masters and major donors.

This just seems like a staunch refusal to listen to anything that doesn't reflect your tribalistic beliefs. You keep attempting to write these people off as not worthy of "our" time because you suspect they're part of the "out group" and racists which is why they voted for Trump.

The world isn't that simple and you're only causing division and a loss of support with puritanical beliefs such as this and the fact that you bring up "total number of visits to Wayne County Michigan" as a metric for how well each candidate connected with Muslims in America shows that you're on no sort of moral highground as you're boiling down a whole diverse population of people into a simple geographical statistic. This is dehumanizing and evokes other mildly racist, out-of-touch behaviors from the campaign such as: In outreach to Black men, Harris to vow to legalize weed, protect crypto

As opposed to dragging it out to the same exact conclusion?
