For a long time, phone polls were conducted using landline numbers only (rather than calling anyone with a cell phone) but I don't think that's been true for quite a while now.

I can get on board with this theory. They're also insanely slow and nearly as expensive as air travel. I understand some of this is due to the rail network and who owns it, but it still seems like Amtrak hasn't improved one bit since the 1950s.

Yeah we're like a decade into Hulu having an "ad free" plan that includes ads. I lump them in with companies like Verizon offering "unlimited" internet with data caps.
