You need to get another cable to see if it’s the phone e or the cable. If it’s cable then all good. If it’s phone then take to apple
You can actually take a photo while the video is recording. Just drag the red button to right to start video and then tap the white button on right of screen to take photo when ever you want to.
I love my 15 pro max. Never had a heating issue and no one I know as had a heating issue. I’m UK. Y the way. Those that did have been fixed by software now. I’ve used MagSafe and normal charging. I have case and screen protector so no glass or scratching issues here and you’ll love it coming from a 8plus.
The issue is you’re phone been on MagSafe charger from 9pm till 6pm the next day that’s 21 hours mate.
