Stop both siding this nonsense.
The CPC are perfectly fine with foreign oligarch-owned, cheap US invader media and want more of it in Canada.
NATO article 5 if the US attacks or tries to invade Canada. I know for a fact the Netherlands would help Canada, France and the UK eventually too. Then it would be WW3.

CBC are currently hiring 30 journalists across the country. I hope this means we wean ourselves off cheap US news and start investing in our own damn countries news, weather and culture. Given the US is repeatedly expressing their desire to violently annex us, investing in our own news seems like a no brainer. But also fuck the CPC who want to defund it and increase the flow of invader news media into Canada.
The problem is this harmful and terrifying idea of annexing Canada will remain even after trump is gone. Vance is a young dude, him or whoever is the successor will advance Trunps policies and priorities, after the next president even. Canada needs to shift away from the US long term.
