Except everyone knows the cons will obstruct everything and blockade the work of parliament and committee work - that is who they are. I am really curious to see how the liberals under Carney combat that sort of filibustering that cons did for the past few years.

True but they picked an incredibly safe con riding, that has literally zero chance of voting any other way. Looks like he will win that rural AB riding hands down. I was hoping Blake Desjarlais ran against him or at least someone actually from Alberta. But I feel the ritual AB riding will be “honoured” the leader of the co party chose then.

I hope that the con party goes months and months with an acting LoOp in parliament and then turfs PP before Prime Minister Carney allows a by-election. Conservatives got 144 seats but PP lost his. The voters have spoken. Con ideas are sadly and tragically of interest to a shitton of Canadians but PP himself GOT THE BOOT. Respect the will of the voters.
