Aviation, food safety, where does the protection of the common pleb end? It’s getting close.

I can’t figure how airlines and aviation sector don’t see that this undermines trust in their services and products. Means less people flying, less people working. It’s like watching someone turn out all the lights and you know they will be the first to say hey why can’t everyone see?

Too many people just accept degradation of their service and are unwilling to challenge bad behavior. Too many companies have taken advantage of this.

l moved away from Amazon in the last year due to their practices and of course their political allegiances. They an anti consumer, they just want our money. Bezos can stuff it greedy POS.

I have moved back to other sites including eBay and found them to be reasonably priced and fast.

What bothers me is:
The amount of affiliates and links from every other site and, Some retailers use Amazon as their predominant marketplace and, I am frugal but so many deals website are overrun by Amazon deals.

I choose to just do without

It takes courage to bring these accusations up in the face of an already hushed topic. I hope they get investigated.

Lots thinking the same. It takes courage to say it.

There’s the unwritten rule you don’t speak ill of the dead. It’s weird, you can call them an a$$whole all you like when the are alive, as soon as they die then it’s bad taste. Death does not absolve them. They were horrid and peddled misery to others. We need to be voicing this more.

Anyone could then tamper. These bottles are there for your safety and for those around you. It allows the product the be tracked in a recall. Regulations are usually there because of stuff like this.

Did you enquire with any if they had sold/shared your data. I suppose it could be an endless quest trying to trace and delete everything. I know that wasn’t your aim. Just curious as I am starting to do this. We can’t trust online with anything anymore so time to start wiping my footprints of what I still can. And my account list is a good place to start.

The question is: which future will we choose to build? There’s no we in it. It’s a select few who think they are gods. And well they need a reminder, despite the myths gods do not exist

Oh I forgot the floppies and cds. Yeh little packets everywhere. They were a little bites of history, seeing one now would just hurtle me back in time.

And the hatred it’s been a horrible little march but it feels like that some days. It feels very helpless and learning to step back from being online is a struggle for me. I feel like a real old person.

I am trying to ween of insta and social media. More towards genuine content so does anyone have any good gardening blogs? UK based (or similar climate at least) please.

I am not looking for curated style content. I am not wanting boxes of here’s the best 25 flower beds etc.

I have tried llm but it’s been sending me to non existing blogs or reroutes to compilation sites.

Thanks in advance.

I will start by saying I am trying to consume a lot less in my life, but due to circumstance I need to start again in my life. I am also trying to degoogle not use Amazon etc.

With this in mind I prefer to buy a decent value product and look at the options however I have noticed that I keep coming across comparisons and over and over it’s driven by ‘check price at Amazon’. Amazon has ruined decent reviews for me. All anyone wants to do is sell Amazon tat at me. Anyone else have this problem of too much chafe when trying to research decent products?

I’m not Netflix or a struggling screenwriter. I just read an offhand prophecy of how the year pans out and thought it would make a good chat.

Pitch this years Christmas movie to me based on the the crazy year we have had and how it’s going to impact the lead up to Christmas. For simplicity state the genre and maybe around 300 words. Go as crazy as you fancy, the world is a bit bizarre at the moment and Christmas does not have to always be sickly sweet.
