The US is a parent sitting and watching its problem child beat the shit out of the other children in the playpark. Other concerned parents keep asking the US to do something, to which they shrug and say "kids will be kids, what can you do" while handing their child a knuckleduster.

The restructuring could turn the already for-profit company into a more traditional startup and give CEO Sam Altman even more control — including likely equity worth billions of dollars.

I can see why he would want that, yes. We're supposed to ooo and ahh at a technical visionary, who is always ultimately a money guy executive who wants more money and more executive power.

If Vance has shown us anything, it's that he is just as stupid and feckless as his boss and maybe even moreso. Also the Trump base haaate him for being so useless to the campaign.

That's the problem with infinitely escalating insanity in a party, there's always a newer more insane level of insanity. MTG is a moderate now.
