Today I learned that the "KNIGHTS" scene from Shrek 2, the scene parodying the 'COPS' TV show, was based off of the car chase with OJ Simpson in 1994, where he fled the scene in a white Ford Bronco. in c/til@lemmy.ca

Yes, but throwing cigarette butts on the floor has always been something only rude people did. There were trash cans with ashtrays on top filled with sand in which normal people disposed of their butts.
