I played Cyberpunk with a Sandy and Gorilla Arms and even on the hardest difficulty I was killing most enemies in one hit. Though I think early game was pretty rough before I got chromed.
Funnily, there are at least 3 official Star Wars ttrpgs, the Star Wars d6 system by West End Games from before I got into roleplaying, the Star Wars d20 system by Wizards of the Coast from the 2000s, and the current offerings by Fantasy Flight Gaming. If you don't mind needing to get custom dice, the FFG games are widely considered the best from a moment to moment point of view.

I don't think term limits would help, but I'd love us to have a mandatory retirement age nation wide which just happens to include Congress.
Wierd to me that your school let the kids assign roles. At my school it was an audition and the people the theatre teacher liked got all the roles. Granted, they were also pretty good but also they were her faves. People that hadn't been in a play before / weren't in theatre club were lucky to get a part with lines regardless of auditions.
