Cool, I'll try it. I really just mean easy step sequencing for drums and arpeggiators and stuff for synths, maybe a way to limit notes to certain scales. I'm trying to move into the box from grooveboxes, and having to do raw piano rolls and timeline sequencing is daunting to me at the moment.

Holy shit, you're right. Also being able to move without actually needing to save for deposit and rent. Like, you could do trial runs of living in different cities / states. Maybe efficiency isn't everything. Maybe you could try to see how, having grown up under one hierarchical boot, and then working inside of another, they could feel that hierarchy will always be oppressive and therefore should be struggled against.
