Hey Smorty, is cute post!

But the post you're referring to is really not saying that you won't suceed in things - more that some things are unattainable or out of aligment.

At least in my perspective - not aiming for something impossible might be uncomfortable and scary at first - but it'll save far more unhappiness in the future. Like how a walk in the park or forest can be exhausting, dirty and kinda scary - it'll still show you far more than just another internet post could ❤️

Hope this makes sense 😅

The chains dropped prices low; they matchd lidl to outlast them.

But norwegians are surprisingly culturally conservative, most are customers at the worst bank (DNB) - it's the biggest and they know it.

Lidl also had issues with labour rights; so they got in hot waters well before trying to enter the marked. It's a little like Wizz air. They also tried establishing in the norwegian marked, but said they would not allow employees to unionize; which lead to boycotts and protests at airports.

Tldr: Lidl stepped in all the buckets and were pushed out by the establishment.

(A pretty good article here: https://www.achieva.no/posts/why-study-failure-the-case-of-lidl)

Can confirm. Also absolutely nothing has changed; they are still coordinating prices.

Lol sure isn't from OG manga

The youtube channel Mossy earth is a project not driven by big investors, but small investors - you and me and they're restoring nature all over the world, in small projects.

For me it's one of my happy moments looking at their projects and seeing that good things are actually happening in the world! <3

Post is an imagine with 4 panels: Top title: before you leave the house check you have: panel 1: keys panel 2: wallet panel 3: phone panel 4: the vague sense that you've forgotten something

(I've never made text descriptions before, correct me for points)

If you followed the mainstream news for the Iran/Israel escalation, then you might have been terrified about ww3, fearmongering is something they do well.

I'm here to suggest a quite crazy channel for leftist to follow. military industrial economics, channel Perun.

Not because MIC good, but because it's a channel that grants a very well versed way to understanding modern conflicts. No, it's not perfect, but it's way better than cnn or some shit

edit!: it's also one of the reasons I'm less afraid of nuclear escalation in the world!

Remember kids, Tankies wants to undermine democracy - same as facists.

Watched Louis Rossman today, and he's part of the team behind a new app for watching online video content - not just youtube, but nebula, peertube, twitch and more.

adblock already integrated, works amazingly with a quick test on my end - it's an app in the Lemmy spirit

(it's got a paid model similar to winrar, you don't have to pay - but they do want you to - opensource and all)

I have a lot of facial hair; and I've been trying to properly combat it for a long time now.

I first got a safety razor, for a close shave - but the dark hairs were very visible and grew out a couple of millimeters by the end of the day.

I tried laser, but apparently my facial hairs are both light and dark, not to mention also having red pigments - so there weren't much results.

Then i tried pulling hairs out, one by one - this has the actual results I want, but I have to spend so much time on it, and do it around 3 times a week to even keep it sort of under control.

I have a epilating machine (pulling hairs out), that work wonders on my legs - but my facial skin hates it, and last time I ripped my upper lip pretty badly

I'm hoping for permanent hair removal, but I have to wait for my doctor to hopefully send me to a place (electrolysis)

Does anyone here have any experience with waxing the face or such? Should I give up and live with the dark shades of shaving?
