It's at least open source, but can you have your passwords stored anywhere other than their servers? What if the company changes path - can you just use another fork or are you stuck.
You can use keepass with cloudsync.

If you think it might be AI, then try to check when their albums were made, who's credited on their stuff, can you buy CDs, have they played anywhere And so forth. I hope this helps you avoid such in the future
