The point of many of them now is to vocalize takes on events that you know are lies or at least very unlikely in order to support your worldview. They're a subset of information warfare, meant to muddle the waters if not outright intimidate.

Example: people who say Luigi was framed but at the same time say CEOs need to be "Luigi'd." The contradiction, or the truth of the matter, isn't really important in their head, what they want to express is that killing CEOs is great and they want to support the people who do it. You'll see the same trains of thought from Holocaust deniers and lost causer neo confederates.

I mean these shitty microloans are permeating every facet of consumer purchasing already, this might be an attempt to normalize it while they're young.

The problem is you can't just quietly phase out the service pistol of the entire US Armed Forces the way he says at the end, as if it's the Remington R51. They've delivered hundreds of thousands of pistols to the military at this point.

I just don't see this going well for SIG no matter what, especially considering the cocky, rabid, litigious way they've responded to this problem.

Conservative media does value cop lives more than the rest of us, and they feel no shame or remorse in that.

But they don't care all that much about cop lives either. All they want to do is sell the idea that there's a deranged communist-liberal war on cops so the fascist enforcement arm can be excused in moving to the next phase of seizing power: blanket, violent crackdowns.

There is also the slim chance that him worrying causes a cardiovascular event that fucking kills him. Slim, but probably more likely than anyone tangibly holding him to account.

I think people in general are just overwhelmed, worn down, or straight up broken, and that's not conducive to being present and good to other people, romantically or otherwise.

So basically they were lucky he was dumb and went back to hide in the woods right near his house. He could have left the state and went into hiding with that kind of lead time.
