I have played a few hundred hours of XCOM 2 on my treadmill. But I'll play anything turn based that I can use a controller with. Steam controller takes care of the ones that need a mouse.

Nah. Even if you had the ability to shatter a planet (it would take a lot more mass hitting the planet than that of every automobile ever made) it would just clump back together after a while because, ya know, gravity. And now you’ve sloshed everything around in a molten mess so it’s even harder to process.

I wasn’t shamed but basically ignored by my doctor. I got diagnosed by calling an ADHD medication management clinic and getting a list of psychiatrists they worked with that did adult diagnoses. Then called them directly.

Hope you can find someone to help. Getting medication changed my life dramatically for the better.

Disappointing reviews. I had a lot of hours in KF1 and over 1400 in KF2. This one looks like a huge disappointment.

How do you guys manage your iOS device(s)? (lemmy.world)
 

Switched to Linux a little over a year ago and it's been great, but one thing eludes me. What's the best way to do the following when you don't use Windows or MacOS?

  1. Manage music collection - on Windows I used iTunes to sync my mp3's to the phone. Is there a linux solution?

  2. Manage SMS from desktop - I'd like to be able to read and reply to SMS messages on my iPhone from the linux PC right in front of me instead of this rinky dink iPhone soft keyboard. Is this possible?

And how the hell does anyone but a child type on an iPhone anyway, while we're at it? (rhetorical) Grrrr.

A huge win for animal rights. It's not perfect, but we shouldn't let the absence of perfection get in the way of celebrating progress.

I hate that I have to ask this but the internet is awash in garbage these days and I hate sorting through it. Does anyone have a link to a good new player guide for this game? I installed it on Tumbleweed and tried it for a few minutes but had absolutely no clue what was going on. The love everyone has for this game makes me want to give a decent shot though!

Blueprint compatibility with 1.0? (lemmy.world)
 

I'm so psyched about the Satisfactory 1.0 launch and I just finished Dyson Sphere Project so I'm fidgeting looking for something to do. Don't want to get sucked into a new game, so I thought maybe I could kill the next couple weeks by making a bunch of sweet blueprints in the current release before 1.0 comes out, especially to help speed up the early and mid games which I've played through 3 times now. Does anyone know if they are planning to change anything in 1.0 that would make current blueprints incompatible?

Also is there an editor or god mode where I can just sit making blueprints instead of having to farm resources just to play with blueprints? I don't want to start an actual playthrough until 1.0 comes out.
