A few weeks ago I went into the nearby city to help canvass for support for the UPS union. She was comically worried about me getting shot.
Individual users can block communities, but admins cannot defederate individual communities. Likewise, admins can defederate from entire instances, but individuals cannot block instances.
Definitely room for improvement for lemmy.
I was thinking more along the lines of how the burger regime could use it as a part of a full spectrum warfare strategy. I'd much rather see the burger regime get burnt by something like this, but I suspect it and its NATO pawns have more influence over such things than Russia or Belarus do.
