Alberta is actively destroying their healthcare now. It likely won't survive Smith's term.

You've indicated your respect for your gf, so I didn't figure you'd actually do it. It would make for an interesting piece of dark comedy though.

That would deal with the wire. The brackets glued to the teeth, no.

Re: cost

The cost of fashion braces , especially if they are not being regularly adjusted, should be no/low cost. Most of the cost is in the initial installation and removal, and the monthly adjustment appointments. I seriously doubt she's going regularly.

FYI- discoloration of the enamel can happen as a result of braces due to inconsistent staining of enamel. The longer they are on, the worse it can be. It's possible that she doesn't want them removed for this reason.

Unfortunately not all administrators care, and some can be part of the problem. The school I work at has some endemic culture issues because of the "old boys" club that has been formed by the principal. I am glad that you have supportive administration, but that is less common than it should be.

It definitely has high school or college film "quality" to it. But if you're looking for a film to heckle with friends, it will be sufficiently entertaining.

The film makes substantial changes to the ending and some of the main plot though. The novel makes no mention of credit card companies, and the film ending is an atrocity.

Edit: this was supposed to be for the comment thread about Fight Club but apparently posted independently. Apologies for the confusion.

It's not likely this is real. Quora has (had?) issues involving incentivizing shit posting questions with monetary rewards.

ICE can send him to that shiny new concentration camp and keep him there. Or maybe he'll be lucky enough to be made stateless by sending him to an unfortunate African country. Peterson has done so much harm to the LGBTQ+ community and young men that he deserves no less.

Read into radicalization: https://info-radical.org/en/the-radicalization-process/

It's easier and more common than you think.

To prevent the pot from being knocked over, a lower profile but wider, heavy clay or ceramic pot is recommended. Cat mint is a resilient plant that will handle repotting well.

When eating carnivorous animals there is a high risk of prions, worms and other diseases to be passed on. Raccoons are well-known carriers for rabies (I don't know much about badgers). RFK Jr got his brainworm from eating carnivorous game.

(Not my cat)

Met this cat in my strata complex today chilling on some steps. It was largely indifferent, until my camera was ready and some screaming children were running its way. Even then it didn't run away! Hopefully I will have the opportunity to make this cat's acquaintance again.

I've had most these for 1-2 years and love how crazy they look.

I thought it was just another leaf growing, but to my surprise it was a bloom stalk. It lasted less than 24 hours before expiring, and a second opened up. It's always cool to get surprise blooms!

Zone 8b

Varieties: Russian blue, white

Grown in potato planting bags for good drainage. They are in the process of flowering, and some have produced a fruit (very poisonous - do not eat it). Hoping for lots of potatoes this year 🙂

The floppy plants to the left are garlic (soft and hardneck Italian). They are fine; they got too tall and fell over.

Saw this guy chilling on my deck railing, and as soon as the camera came out, he struck this pose.

Not a social media post, so hopefully this is permitted. Canada is also home to sovcits, and this person is outright insane.

I also find it ironic that a sovcit wants a monarchy.

This floofy boi befriended me while on a walk around my strata. He's friendly and wants all the pets and scratches.

My lithops have been in various stages of splitting for the past few months. They have decided to show the process all in one pot! The potting medium is perlite.

I saved this plant from my office 6 months ago because it had nearly no leaves, and now she's green and growing in a unique way. If this is what healthy looks like, it's all good with me.
