The original Legend of the Galactic Heroes. This is top tier sci fi, politics, and mitary drama that is more impactful today than when the original novel was written.

I feel like a lot of rank and file conspiracy theorists just want to feel smart and special. When they disagree with facts it's because that makes them feel smarter than all the experts despite being wrong and much dumber. It's a way to feel smart without putting in any work.
MAGA goons pretended to beat this man because of a conspiracy theory that he was diverting their relief funds to migrant families. He was not. The video of the incident is actually from a 2023 brawl between a security gaurd and a woman.
I thought of a third gripe! I would have preferred to play this game in Japanese, but only the main story lines are translated. Being loving to your horse or overhearing villagers talking about your deeds is totally lost in playing with just subtitles. You really need the dialogue to be in your native tongue to get the full story and atmosphere. Every spoken word should have been subtitled and translated. This is an accessibility issue, too. Deaf people just don't get to experience that part of the game.
What an idiot. Didn't even pretend to be remorseful and turned the court into some performative BS to no one's benefit but the people she's against.
But if they were made in USA the pages would be in the wrong order and the corners wouldn't be square. The Chinese ones are at least usable for the 8 months they last before falling apart.
