This is fucking funny. How do you come off as the biggest asshole in your story, that you are voluntarily telling strangers online, and your story is about dating a combat veteran, who is most likely connected to a warcrime.

This one in particular is good if the person you're speaking to is religious. I used a simplified version to explain my disgust for Saudi Arabia very quickly, and in particular what they have done in Mecca with all their grand luxury hotels around the Kabaah.
I have no questions, but I want to say that it breaks my heart to hear that you were exposed to that kind of crap at such a young age.

It continues to blow my mind that New York managed to build one of the first functional metro systems in the world, and then decided that they shouldn't ever bother to maintain them beyond the absolute bare minimum, for like 80 years. You'd be forgiven for thinking that preparing for CHUDs to become violent would be extremely easy, and presumably the only thing that the American state can actually deal with. Because as we saw with BLM, the American state has killed off most of its ability to do litterally anything, aside from committing gruesome acts of violence.
The whole "save the children in Africa" feels very End of History to me. Like the entire west went "well, we sorted out all the problems in our countries, maybe we should try to do something about the millions of people we starve". As soon as problems at home couldn't be masked anymore, the broader society just stopped giving a shit.
