Apparently it's because Bin Laden had it on his harddrive that they seized/stole during the raid that killed him. And it's not exactly like the CIA is all that fuzzed about people knowing they did some terrible shit during the cold war, since they just claim that it was a different time and that they have changed (or libs will make that argument, because they have a religious need to believe that the CIA is now the good guys after Trump yelled at them).

Only tangentially related to your comment, but you made me curious about whether Guatamala City was "high" enough to qualify for the Most Dangerous City ranking.

Gotta admit, I was not expecting so many of the highest murder rates to be in Mexico. I figured a lot more of Central America would have been up in that list. Also incredibly funny that St. Louis is ranked higher than Capetown and every other brazillian city.

A country who seemingly jumps from economic crisis to economic crisis, with no respite, and who's economy is so utterly dominated by large landowners that it mirrors the antebellum South, is planning on cutting all ties to its 2nd biggest trading partner, whom they import more from than any other singular nation.

Also, wasn't a whole bunch of previously russian ships suddenly being registered in Greece? Or am I thinking ofn something else? I just remember the whole "shadow fleet" thing was a major concern shortly after the sanctions on maritime insurance.

Probably the closest you will find is a bunch of people (including yours truly) who commented during the very brief takeover period in 2021 that was genuinely incredible that the US had managed to create 0 effective government after propping up a puppet for 20 years. People were looking at it like with a certain level of schadenfreude and bemoaning the fact that the entire occupation was for naught, except allowing local opium growers time to export their goods to the big pharmaceutical companies, which probably helped cause the opiod crises that is ravaging poor, rural areas.

I mean the very word "pronoun" has taken on a life of its own, to the point where english teachers in America are afraid to teach basic grammar, because hearing "today we are going to learn about pronouns" activates all the moronic sleeper agents.

Is that the tank that is so heavy that it has to function as a submarine if Ukraine is ever going to cross a body of water wider than a stream?

Is he literally making the argument that Ukraine has more soldiers than Russia has bullets/fuel for their aircraft?

I feel the same way. Originally i was sort of ambivalent, because it frankly didn't matter to me, but it really makes it a lot easier when you're talking to someone and it didn't seem like much trouble to go through.

You forgot the most important part of American Christianity, which is that Putin (and United Russia in general) is massively homophobic, which means that chuds are able to look past all the differences in theology if it allows them to be the swine they long to be.
