Almost certainly they are. Didn't some US millitary dude claim that Israel had loaded nuclear bombers and readied them during the 6-day war or whatever it was called? So clearly they have a precedent for preparing them.
Even if it is just monopolists taking advantage, it hurts the western economies just the same. Whether the price increase is caused by material factors such as the Ansarallah attacks or by opportunism, none of the governments in europe are going to be able to get it sorted out. If Mærsk decides to raise prices and claim it's because of the attacks, despite not being hit by any of the attacks, Denmark is not going to punish them as they are deemed too important to the danish economy (and are also way more politically connected than pretty much any other business in Denmark).

This is less stupidly wrong than the usual drivel I see posted as for why Americans are unhappy with their economic outlook. It still fails to ask the very basic questions needed for decent analysis, but at the least this seeks an explanation that isn't just "TikTok is making people miserable, it must be the fault of the CCP"
Direct street kidnapping is probably too much of a risk, but sending a few ukro-nazis (sorry, Ukrainain diplomats) to Germany who then "persuade" a few dozen people to go back and join the fight is probably not too much a risk. As long as you don't directly black bag someone from the street, I don't see the Germans (or other Euros) doing much of anything.
