I think this is more of a liberal thing. They love posting pictures of women in mini skirts from the reign of the Shah and sometimes only indicate and sometimes say it outright, that the Shah was a leader for Iran than the Islamic theocracy that it is today.
At least Brzinsky had the decency to die in 2017, so he just about got to witness the first couple of months of Trump being a moron before taking his last breath. He probably also died thinking that the empire was in danger, but I don't know if the doom was clear to him back in 2017.
Edit: I just remembered that Brzinsky was the guy who said that the end of the soviet union justified the US' support for the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, so I guess his comeuppance was 9/11 and much more actualised than Kissingers.
Reminds me of the western journalist that went to Lebanon to talk to a Hezbollah fighter about why they fought against Israel (supposedly the journalist was writing a longer piece about "why we fight" which wanted to explore motivations for fighting against states) and the Hezbollah fighter took her to a memorial for two different refugee camps that Israel "alledgedly" had struck with missiles back in 2004-2005. Made me want to tear my hair out.
Agressively going into the room and going "how much do you want" and then blindly accepting as truth whatever number they say.
Roughly a third of all liberals think Putin either is an ideologically committed communist comparable to Xi Jinping or think that what happened in the 90s was merely that the USSR changed its name and kept the rest.
I'd get roasted on here for a variety of reasons, but most of all because I have a whole bunch of Econ textbooks from my university days. Also the entire top layer of my bookshelf is just Qu'rans with annotations.

Is that the one that got posted all over the "normie" internet back in 2011-2012? That makes a half-brained argument against TV and saying that 1984 was too obvious and that people would rebel, and that the real dystopia was Brave New World and Fahrenheit 451? Because I remember reading that title on 9gag back then and wondering if my english skills were failing me, since I could not make sense of that at all.
I think my wife's student loan has like 1,75% interest on it, so it's not a huge amount, but it does represent another debt that we need to get rid of. We also just got an interest rate increase on our car, which means that any available income we have is going towards paying that off as soon as possible. I think so far this past year we have paid an additional 3-4 months off of our loan, and later this month we'll pay another 3.
The coolest thing about esports is the fact that efter the Chinese team Edward Gaming won the League of Legends World Championship in 2021, their historic star player was inducted into the CPC as a reward, despite being only a substitute and a streamer and not playing a single game at that world championship, and also being the primary reason why the team had struggled at previous tournaments.
One of the main reasons why I believe the Faroe Islands haven't decided to update their abortion laws for 50+ years is probably due to the fact that the islands lose a whole bunch of young people every year, since there isn't a university on any of the islands and people therefore have to move to Denmark if they want to pursue higher education. This has also caused quite a gender imbalance, as a lot of the traditional jobs on the faroe islands are in the fishing industry, which women have historically been barred from, leading to a bunch of men living in small hamlets and villages with very few women available for marriage/partnering. Since the men that had jobs on the sea stayed, and a lot of the women left, you don't really get the same cultural progressive-force you would typically have when your population becomes highly educated.
