They say that the case has insufficient evidence to raise charges, which is cop-speak for "I don't want to do the work"
The color revolution aspect might be more about how the CIA jumped at the chance to utilize popular and legitimate discontent with a bunch of governments rather than the CIA having any specific goal in mind when the protests kicked off. The royal family in Morocco has basically been CIA assets since the country was founded and even the king there got REALLY fucking frightened at the protests, to the point where you have seen a genuine increase in the standard of living for the average person due to government actions.
Don't most french people have trouble understanding Quebeccois? As in, the there might be a point where the two "dialects" diverge enough that it becomes a separate language (at least to anyone who isn't a Quebec nationalist)
Sweden spent a lot of time and money to prove that this wasn't the case. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Institute_for_Racial_Biology
Supposedly one of the first in the world actually, which one of my swedish coworkers likes pointing out when Sweden makes the news for being "too politically correct".
So Finland and Denmark are both relatively similar in the fact that we are the two most reactionary Nordic countries, but does the Finnish government also just take in a whole lot of immigrant children and put them in an english-speaking "reception" class to teach them Finnish language? I know that some of my wife's cousins from Italy moved here and were just plopped into a class with a bunch of Syrian refugee children and some somalis, none of whom spoke english natively and ostensibly the goal of the class was to teach the children Danish, but since few of the kids even spoke english at first, my wife's cousins had to act as translators for the kids who spoke arabic primarily.
Doesn't Israel have a million different parties, and somehow all of them are fascist/far right?
Also despite having a million parties, Netanyahu somehow remains in power
She recently posted about how Jews have the right to ethnically cleanse Israel of anyone non-jewish and seemingly cited both the Bible and Torah as the historical basis for the claim to the land (she specifically mentioned the jews getting help in the form of divine intervention to return to Israel after the slave-time in Egypt).
That sign should become the new flag of Israel. It's way more fitting than the star of David anyway, so just make this the new one.
Yeah I figured as much. It's probably just a us committing a whole lot of money to throw into a pit/black hole, but nevertheless I'm happy that it probably won't mean that we try to attack the russians
Iran doesn't control any of the Shia groups that it gives weapons to around the Middle East. The Arab world and particularly the lapdogs in the monarchies are so incredibly hostile to anything remotely Shia, that all iran needs to do is give some weapons to people who would otherwise get massacred, and then their geopolitical goals are fulfilled all the same. How that qualifies as imperialism is legitimately beyond my conception. Particularly since Iran doesn't seem to benefit in any way like a colonial overlord would expect to, nor does the Iranian economy seem to have pressing need to expand to new markets like Lenin wrote about in Imperialism
I love that American democracy is supposedly both something worth annihilating half the world for and also something that falls apart the second another country decides to press the "post memes on facebook" button.
