I don't know if he started it, but he was quoted as saying "Bidenomics is working", so he, at worst, is endorsing the name openly.

And yeah, but that sorta proves the point. Tying a Dems name to something is all it takes to mob it down; ignoring that it was incredibly similar to "Romneycare"

Tying his name to it seems like a bad idea. People opposed Obamacare because of the name; half the country gets off on hating Democrats mostly because of the color of the ticket. Calling it Bidenomics will only make it easier for the talking heads to shit on it.

Yup, I have mine on the magazine ready to go, but I'm not sure if it should be like user flair or post flair for sorting. So it's just kinda...all of em right now. Lol

I was under the impression that was how it was supposed to function; boosts were the upvote and downvote is the downvote, but boosts were weighted more heavily? Or something? Lmao it seems unnecessarily complicated, just stick with up or down.

It's an alright way to see if someone is commenting on good-faith or not. Anytime I saw someone saying highly controversial things, I'd check their account to see if they were just downvote collecting or actually held the view. It's harder to do that now; my account says I'm at like...-30 something, on a single comment that went beyond a few people's sensibilities. I could have put an /s on it but that defeats the purpose.

But anyone that looks at my profile now to make the "good faith" check will see me at -30, despite other contributions.

It is dumb how people worry about the number, but it does have other uses besides just a popularity indicator.

I think this is what a lot of people are missing here. Lot of people asking for specific content, but very few are willing to make it.

Like I used to do some amateur in-depth looks at my college basketball team, but stopped due to just general life stuff and that is would get drowned out by memes about bar graphs. Now, though, there is an audience hungry for it, and it may be something I get back into a little bit.

Not currently. And I think the kbin app is actually this, kbin uses /m/ I think? Or maybe I'm just wrong lol

I'm waiting to do it because I want to leave no trace, and any closed subs are unable to have comments changed. Also, waiting til the last minute because I'm not trying to dead mod one of my subs; I hate Reddit, buts it's a smallish sub (30k) and I don't want to just leave it. Only two of the five mods are active, and he's thinking of leaving as well, so I guess we're gonna have to mod search?? At least get one person in and then dip.

Huge WVU fan, wish we would have forced the resignation after the radio show. It's a y kept secret that he's a drunkard, and I'd guarantee he gets things swept under the rug here in Morgantown. Apparently he drove from Columbus to Pittsburgh and has no recollection of it.

What a fuckin way to tarnish your reputation. It's insulting to the fans and the school, what he's done.

I already got vote massacred cause I made a joke about displaying Nazi logos being illegal, since that neighborhood in...Chicago? outlawed the trans flag(where I was clearly on the right side) and people assumed I was making an actual, factual argument for the nazis. It's necessary sometimes lol
