Yep, Ronald Reagan was the last guy who should've been saying that. "Before you try to fix anyone else, fix yourself" is what he should've been telling himself.

Good end to a good series. I remember reading the Manga on Mangamo, then getting surprised that it got made into an Anime, then getting my sister to watch the whole thing with me.

Was surprised at the quality and the budget of it, given that they didn't even bother to draw in the faces of some of the NPC's in other shoujo anime this season, like Raeliana. "Shadows House Part 2" I called those scenes.

Couldn't have summed it up better myself. Strongest part was the beginning, but it got less good (but still watchable) as it went on. Still looking forward to more seasons of Konosuba in general though. Hopefully with a higher budget, similar to Bakuen wo.

Pretty surprised this is happening. Hasn't it been over a decade at this point? Then again, The Devil is a Part Timer had a gap like that. Anyhow, it's welcome news, and this took way longer than it should've.

So many nameless forgettable isekai Anime and / or high school harem rom-com Anime came out in the time it took to make Spice and Wolf again. At least we're getting more.

Yep. I was surprised at how much of a downgrade it was from the first movie, and it had some odd and disturbing scenes like Ralph force-feeding a cute thing until it exploded. I was like, "What the hell is up with this out of left field sadism." like who approved that at Disney?

Good news. Like many suspected, Amazon was only maintaining its unrealistically low prices and actually useful search and features to drive its competitors out of business, after which they (as expected) enshitified everything.

It's why I kept going to physical stores whenever I could. Nowadays physical stores actually can provide a better experience for similar or cheaper prices. Even if you pay a little bit more, there's often benefits that come with that too. Knowledgeable advice, hassle free returns and exchanges, being able to see things in person, knowing that you're only looking at quality products that have been tested and are actually functional and safe, etc.

It's sad that you can't trust that products on Amazon are genuine, safe, and actually functional, but it's where we're at.

Yeah, don't understand that. Elon's a guy that overpaid for Twitter: a site that swings between mostly unprofitable and sometimes slightly profitable and then saddles it with a huge loan with interest payments so large that it basically guarantees that it's already dead because there's no mathematical way for it to make enough profit to continue.

Unless the Saudis and other dictators aligned with them decide that it's worth giving Musk a break in order to turn Twitter into a propoganda machine / spy site to catch activists and dissenters, Twitter's already dead. It just hasn't finished bleeding out yet.

How can Spez look at that and think, "Oh hey, I want THAT for Reddit."

Underrated reply. Twitter is definitely a place where a bunch of people follow a small group of famous people and content creators almost like lemmings. (The irony that lemmy isn't like despite users being called lemmings isn't lost on me)

Mastodon is a bit better, but also strangely seems to be focused on big names and groups as well, just different ones and to a lesser extent. It's one of the reasons I spend less time on there and more on Kbin / Lemmy.

On the positive side, it's from Mastodon that I learned about Kbin and Lemmy to begin with.

I don't disagree, but there's a 18+ / NSFW checkbox for posts like this.

That's what they're hoping, but what they're probably going to find is that "eat the rich" might become more than a metaphor, and that once people with the guns and muscles realize that they don't have to listen to the rich anymore...

Yeah, thanks for doing so. You can also tell her that a random internet guy who's a self proclaimed expert at detecting perverts won't call you a pervert, so you definitely aren't a pervert, or at least enough of one to have a 2D anime image accusing you of being a pervert posted in response to you.

So yes, she's definitely not married to a pervert. Not like the 4 people who upvoted my image, who definitely upvoted it because they ARE perverts.
