So... blockchain, NFT, Live Service, Microtransaction FPS with MMO style grind, and maybe it's in a fantasy setting for some reason, with unlockable space ships that you can only buy with real life cash, Star Citizen style?

Oh, and there's no gameplay ever released, but you can keep buying skins and other microtransactions.

Then it shuts down with no refunds 5 years later, and all your purchases go poof, and the only "gameplay" released is one slow FPS level with a backwards flying dragon and some generic terrorists.

AMD side: Sapphire, Powercolor, and XFX in that order usually. Asrock's been pretty decent as well.

Nvidia? Not really sure, Zotac is a sister company to Sapphire and is usually pretty decent, I've heard. MSI might be okay, but I'd read reviews for the specific card in question. Same with Asus, as I've heard they've been going downhill as of late. Gigabyte's been known for poor quality cards for a while. Maybe not all of them, but more of them than other brands.

That's just the word on the grapevine though, individual reviewers would have more insight. Like Gamer's Nexus and Hardware unboxed.

That sounds about right. Gigabyte's known as being an inferior choice much of the time, and ASUS has been cheaping out lately and getting lazy. They're just coasting on their name recognition as of late, unfortunately.

Eh, Millenials have the luxury of probably being dead by the time that Gen Z and those afterwards inherit the "real shit" historical moments. We're still in the "I sleep" part of the meme, fortunately(?).

True, but if you like looking at them and it soothes your stress, that kind of helps. Stress = inflammation after all. Plus, there's the placebo effect, which is surprisingly effective sometimes.

It's a farmer thing. It's about fertilizer. Or it used to be, but then farmers started making jokes while talking about fertilizer, and then they made jokes without the fertilizer... and then it kept going until their city friends started just making jokes, and it leads to where we are today.

To be honest, that new Superman cartoon that Adult Swim is making makes Superman AND Lois Lane look Asian.

Honestly, not shocking. Campaign's fun for a while, but then gets samey. Also, the story's okay, but I feel like storytelling took a nosedive after 343 took over and Bungie left. Reach was the last Halo game that I would describe as feeling emotional. I still think fondly about the "Remember Reach" campaign and the some of the live action cinematics during the Bungie era.

343... I wanted to like them, but each edition of Halo starting from 4 had something missing from it. And what they did to try and "fix" it just didn't gel that much for me. I don't know who could do a better job than them, but at this point I would guess any credible FPS studio.

The Legend series was underrated. I was disappointed when they announced 3 only to cancel it. I was surprised at how much I liked it despite being a fan of the original and X.

Yep, so true. Even before it wasn't such a great place. It encouraged anger and fights, doomscrolling, and negativity even before Musk took over. I was seriously considering leaving it for good before he bought it. He just made a bad thing worse, honestly. It was already on a downward trend. Even their internal research had shown that all of their top tweeters who had the most positive engagement had already gone away.

Clever. Shows just how important punctuation is. Haven't thought about stuff like this in a while.

That's why I deleted my actual Facebook account, it really did give me the impression that the company was Cyberstalking me. They knew stuff I did not tell them or put down anywhere in any of the data forms they gave me to fill out. I didn't upload any pictures, I barely did much of anything, yet somehow they seemed to know everything about me anyway.

I eventually made a new "account" a few years later and left it completely blank and filled out nothing but my name... and yet they still guessed quite a few things correctly, including who I knew in real life. So damn creepy. I only use that new account for log in synchronization for games and apps that don't have any other means of access. I wish I could get rid of it too, but it's a necessary evil for certain edge cases.
