Kann ich auch nachvollziehen, bei mir sind nur geräte da, die sich an standards halten und entsprechend funktionieren. Ist aber halt auch so eine sache: solange kaum NI-Nutzer auf Linux sind, hat NI keinen grund linux treiber und software zu entwickeln, und solange es die treiber und software nicht gibt, wechselt kaum jemand.
Genau deswegen bleibe ich aber linux only und schreibe manchmal nette mails bei sachen, die ich gerne nutzen würde.
Bzgl android auto: evtl geht es mit gspace
Bzgl DAWs hast du aber einfach unrecht. Mit Reaper und bitwig gibt es zwei closed source alternativen, die nativ auf linux laufen und nicht von minderer Qualität sind. Gibt genug, die Reaper (Dan Worall <3) oder bitwig gegenüber den anderen big playern bevorzugen. Und imho ist ardour als open source alternative auch auf dem gleichen niveau.
Und auch bei Soft-Synths sieht es ein bisschen anders aus. U-he und TAL liefern ihre plugins nativ für Linux und min u-he ist qualitativ industry leader (Hans Zimmers Lieblings-Synth ist u-he Zebra, Diva ist die beste analog vintage synth emulation auf dem Markt). Und abgesehen davon: Wenige Windows-VSTs laufen nicht yabridge unter Linux. Und auch open source gibt es in Spitzenquailtät nativ, siehe Vital, das LSP-Projekt, Helm, Cardinal, Surge XT...
Bzgl der anderen Bereiche magst du recht haben, da bin ich nur hobbymäßig unterwegs.

Nah, that's just wrong. You can compare yourself in other ways than how much fake money you earn. Fun thing is: truly communistic society would mean easier work for most people.
And communism does work in small scale enviroments. Families, cooperatives, tribes. Sometimes neighborhoods.
This whole "Sounds great but won't work" rhethoric is just what the ones that would loose their power in communsim want you to think. If you dig into it you will see, that there were and are a lot of efforts to discredit the idea.
I'm using liftoff mainly it works alright. Only thing that bothers me is that you can't switch apps without loosing something you typed and haven't send.
