Funny thing, if you pretend to take off your seat belt it looks like you were wearing one. Seatbelt laws are useless tyranny.

Do it! If nothing else you should go to see how they are run. Bring a helmet if you have one, ride-alongs are super fun.
See if there are any autocross groups in your area. Cheaper and safer than a track day with 95% of the thrill.

When driving an auto I have to be real careful not to try and hit the 'clutch'. Brake checked myself more than once doing that.

It's expensive up front but works pretty well and no hosting fees. Of course it's not GPS so you kinda gotta know the general area the cat is in. But it was great for getting the cats in out of the yard. They would hide when it was time to come in until we got this. Worked ok for finding them in the neighborhood as well, just walked around pointing the remote everywhere. The collar tags are nice and small as well.
