Several port authorities have observed a similar drop in cargo volumes over the past few weeks, warning that such a decline could have significant and adverse effects on consumers—who may face rising prices and limited product availability—as well as the supply chain-linked sectors of the U.S. economy.

Worcester City Manager Eric Batista said in a statement that the city “will never” target individuals passed on their immigration status and that city officials including police do not assist with ICE civil detainments “but may not interfere with it.”

“However, it is the municipality and department’s responsibility to uphold the law and protect the peace of our community,” Batista said. “The series of events was no doubt disturbing and the footage of a family being separated is harrowing … My heart goes out to all those impacted by today’s events and the growing tension we all feel due to the national political climate.”

NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuters) - UnitedHealth Group (UNH.N) , opens new tab was sued on Wednesday for allegedly concealing how backlash from the killing of a top executive was damaging its business, causing its stock to nosedive after the insurer lowered its 2025 outlook.

In a proposed class action filed in Manhattan federal court, shareholders said the insurer defrauded them after the December 4 shooting of UnitedHealthcare Chief Executive Brian Thompson by shifting away from strategies that led to higher-than-average claims denials, without revealing the impact on profitability.

An out-of-town jury from a majority-white county took about 8 1/2 hours over two days to find Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley and Justin Smith not guilty on all charges after a nine-day trial in state court in Memphis, which is majority-Black. After the jury’s verdict was read, the defendants hugged their lawyers as relatives of the former officers cried. Outside the courtroom, one relative yelled, “Thank you, Jesus!”

Martin Zummach, Smith’s attorney, told The Associated Press by text: “It’s easy to defend a good person. It’s nerve racking to represent an innocent man. “

Flash forward to 2025, and the real-life prank lord behind poor Scott has only formed even more elaborate schemes to torment neo-fascists after wetting his beak on scamming Cartman with a few ginger pubes. As Morton recently revealed, he is the troll owner of a fake dating site aimed at far-right singles, and in the coming days, he will finally show us what makes MAGA swipe right

Appreciate it! I didn't even see that.

And now this one has a lot of comments. 😭

I'm laughing real hard because I was also attracted by the thumbnail and clicked.

But -- I hope others don't follow suit and make sharing content look like time square with motion everywhere.

I did not know that! The prices put it in retrospective. Thank you.

I never bought a steak before. And I know it'll be wasted on me. Had a $300 steak at a fancy dinner with tech startups and went "ah neat" then went to go get a lamb kabob.

So I don't fully understand the costs.

Yeah I was prepared to hit the mark to spam button until I clicked on it.

~~Did you not read the part where it linked to a affiliate link to a ebook that was written in AI?~~

I'm mistaken. I read the article and was confused.

A decade ago, my friend went on a tinder date with a guy who said he worked in "protection services". After the third date, he admitted that he's actually a cop, which she was on the fence about. He begged her to stay.

Then after three months of dating, she broke up with him, deleted her social media, lived with her parents a few states away, and cut off all contact with everyone who known her.

Only about a year ago did she finally reconnect with her social group.

So yeah, that gut check is important.

Reading the comments- he did indeed get scammed.

Key signs:

  • Meat was pumped with brine
  • Meat wasn't vacuumed sealed well
  • No marbling

I don't fully understand the differences. Again, I don't buy beef.

I know this guy who is absolutely ridiculous about this.

On one hand, he can't stand women's groups, gets upset about women's sports, can't stop dismissing anything that isn't solely masculine like yoga, dance, and even rages on women artists and musicians.

On the other hand, has BEGGED OUT LOUD to people (I'm not even his friend) to get him connected with "chicks".

I have no idea how to tell this guy he's a miserable hateful fuck who will die alone because of his own personality.
