Please ignore the commenter saying you should get a divorce. Nobody here knows anything about your relationship or your personal life, so we have no business telling you to make major life decisions. You may want to try talking to a therapist who specializes in gender identity issues, since only someone who takes the time to get to know you and understand your situation can really give you helpful advice.

Thanks for the info!

This is why I hate Twitter and Facebook. Their algorithms are designed to promote posts that cause political division.

First lemmy comment to make me laugh, thank you for that.

"Today, I’ll go ride my bike with my triathlon team and get curious about what’s next for me," he continued. "Tomorrow, I’ll get up and start something new."

It's too bad that the Twitter API has gone to shit, but at least we can all rest assured that this guy is on a triathlon team.

This is horrifying. I don't see how you can possibly justify the existence of a procedure that can go so wrong. On the plus side, reading this article definitely makes me feel much better about my own penis size. (In the sense that I'm grateful to have a penis that's normal and functioning.)

I don't get it, what's the benefit of this? Why would your average joe want to use a cloud instance instead of running Windows locally? How does Microsoft benefit from this?

Why does Microsoft want this? What's the benefit of encouraging people to use VMs instead of running Windows locally?

Why doesn't the plastic screen protector cover the entire screen? It seems so unnecessary to leave a gap.

Overwatch has plenty of viable competitive heroes that don't require quick reflexes

I was expecting your document to be some kind of tutorial, but it seems like you wrote it for people who already know what they're doing. I would need to understand the "normal" way of doing it first before I would be able to understand what you're talking about in your document. (Note: I'm new to Docker, which is why I gave up on setting up my own Lemmy server. It would be nice if someone could write a tutorial specifically for people who are new to Docker.)

If you want to help people set up their instances, I don't think your document should have so much focus on the differences between your method and the official method, because that just adds to the confusion. It would be more helpful to just focus on your method and explain it in a way that noobs can understand.

It sounds like you came across documentation for how to host a Lemmy server. Can you explain what it is you're trying to do? I'm not sure what you mean by "use the official web app."
