I think they're already doing that at least some. I've noticed an increase in the number of embedded videos that I can't watch without signing in. It also makes downloading for offline viewing them a bit more difficult.

Sometimes its ok to skip a day off news. If I'm feeling beat up just from my normal day I might not have the endurance to take in the news too. So I skip it on those days.

Why do i see so many comments that are missing? Sometimes they are in threads that are getting heated and I could understand someone deleting a really bad take but other times it's in a shitpost like the example.
