I have been a daily reddit user since 2008. I had never seen a single Apollo ad or any discussion of Apollo.

Your search results are biased towards what you have browsed on Google.

Also you shouldn't be seeing ads with proper internet hygiene. Ublock origin, no script, vpn if you can. Res will strip out every reddit ad. And I'd highly recommend duck duck go or something more private than Google these days

I wanted to take 2 classes at a cc to qualify for a program at work. I have multiple degrees. It's a 200 dollar and 100 hour commitment for six months to give me a 15k raise.

I tried to apply through this new and improved portal and it would not let me. I had three separate it people help me. No browser or device or cookie setting would allow me to apply.

After a week someone very competent called me to solve the issue. Apparently my name is so common that on the initial account creation check to see if I've already registered an account didn't have enough unique information to differentiate me from other students.

What happened to brave?

Sometimes. I reread a few books from my childhood because I wanted to reframe them

I reread a few because I forgot I read them (Michael crichtons pirate latitudes and John irvings a widow for one year are two that I've completely forgotten)

I reread Ulysses 3 more times and I still don't get it. I just don't think I know enough about Europe and catholicism to really get the jokes. I took a class In college on the illiad and the odyssey and it was not enough to understand.

Geb: the eternal golden braid is a dense chewy read for such a forgettable book. Mazel tov for making the effort.

Just finished the Mayo Clinic Guide to Pregnancy . Pretty sound pregnancy book.

Also reading through The Cornish Coast Mystery by John Bude. It's part of the British Libraries Crime Classics which I'm hoping to work through. It's actually a little simple. It shows a piece of evidence and then walks you through all the possibilities and investigators thoughts. Its also telegraphs what happens heavily at the beginning and then red herrings in a very plodding way for the rest of the book. It's really a 1920s police procedural.

I'm also reading a book called The Dao of Montessori but it's a bit heavy for an entry into that teaching philosophy.

It can be either. You can get slow release non urea based osmocote stuff for pumpkins as they are very hungry. Consider putting some peas or beans in there after the pumpkin is done to help recruit fungi to convert your nitrogen into a useable form. Since it's your first year you might have just had too young compost
