I’m a little more selective than that, personally. I also engage in conversation more liberally while encouraging people to follow hashtags rather than individuals, which helps discovery.

it’s a bad encoding issue or a corrupt file. re-download the episode.

edit: if you check the add-ons guide in the sidebar, there’s an app called Checkrr which will occasionally scan your library for corrupt files and use Sonarr/Radarr to re-download them.

And why do you bring Argentina as if the US is free of guilt, you did much worse, and you talk to me about whatabutism when you didn’t even have any single consequence?

Argentina borrowed money from the IMF, not the US, so the US isn’t involved. You’re just attacking the US because you don’t have a defense for Argentina’s actions, and you think it will hurt my feelings. it’s a whataboutism.

Whataboutism or whataboutery (as in "what about…?") denotes in a pejorative sense a procedure in which a critical question or argument is not answered or discussed, but retorted with a critical counter-question which expresses a counter-accusation. From a logical and argumentative point of view it is considered a variant of the tu-quoque pattern (Latin 'you too', term for a counter-accusation), which is a subtype of the ad-hominem argument.

It was not an agreement, it was a debt trap with a corrupt politician and an economic weaponization of debt, that is the only purpose of the IMF and you know it. It wasn’t our failure, it was something your country does to fuck everyone up.

lmao, again, Argentina borrowed money from the IMF, not the US. get your facts straight, lol

nice whataboutism, but this isn’t about the US, it’s about Argentina’s sordid past and its refusing to abide by its agreements to the IMF.

nice try at deflection, though. there’s only so much you can blame others for your own failures.

How is something that happened 80 years ago has anything to do with the current situation regarding the debt trap by the FM

yet you used Operation Paperclip as a defense… so, which is it? you can’t have it both ways.

You come and tell us we are bastards because we choose to do what is best for us?

tell me how harboring nazi war criminals from war crimes prosecution was “best or you"

I worked for Dell tech support in the 90s. sometimes that arcane troubleshooting knowledge still comes in handy!

It’s possible they had a dead BIOS battery, and whenever they had to boot up, they had to reset the BIOS clock, or the system would go haywire thinking it was Jan 1, 1992 or whatever the default date was.

PUBLIC - Version 1.32.3.7192

This release fixes a security issue in Plex Media Server’s auto-update service on Windows. The issue allowed a local unprivileged user to cause denial of service on the system. This cannot be exploited by an attacker without existing user access to the machine, and we’re not aware of any way to use it to escalate to administrator privileges or gain code execution. Nevertheless, we recommend that all users running Plex Media Server on Windows update to this new version as soon as possible, particularly those who run it on shared systems.

Lemmy instance servers are all struggling to handle the massive influx of traffic and new users

Unfortunately, this is resulting in long load times, lagging in user actions, and failed data interactions. As a result, you may experience login issues. some comments may get lost, some votes may not get registered, and you may see inconsistent/inaccurate comment/vote counts among some other strange issues.

This is a Lemmy issue, not one with Mlem. Hopefully, as server capacity is increased across instances, these extraneous errors will subside. Until then, just know that they're not unusual during times of high traffic and server stress. You can hop on over to our Matrix Space to chat with the fast-growing Mlem community, or you can check out our project on GiHub! (links below)

Cheers!
