Highly unlikely, the melting point of those materials is higher than most house fires. The boiling point would be even higher. Even then, the amount of beryllium in all of those gems combined wouldnt be enough to significantly impact the air quality.

Once the universe has expanded sufficiently, there will be no more reactions at all. Protons and electrons will be too far apart to interact. There maybe a few remnant pairs of neutrons and protons, but eventually even those will separate to distances where they won't interact.

Isn't this a bit like saying that NASA has Mars in its sights, not New Jersey? Sure there are more people in NJ, but arriving in NJ isn't really an accomplishment. My theory is that his PR people are "leaking" these stories that he can rebuild his image as a recovering addict. This will let them craft a sympathetic story and they will hope that we'll forget that he's a racist asshole.
