Listen, Pythagoras gives us the hands down best way to tell intelligent life visiting earth that we're intelligent. Drawing a right triangle and marking the sides with 3 dots, 4 dots, and 5 dots immediately demonstrates that we are a sapient species that has developed mathematics with no need for a device or language. Of course, we're all carrying devices these days, so maybe that's no longer relevant.

This feels like an article that precedes a dwarf fortress code change that impacts less than 1% of players who see wooden mechanisms break down after hundreds of years

It depends. The problem with purity tests is that you're never 100% pure. It's why even vegans hate vegans: you can never be vegan enough. I try not to judge, but I would judge if a friend, for example, bought a diesel truck with no use for it, or a cybertruck in general. That's doing actual, active damage, at the expense of you as a person, why are you doing it?

I remember this episode of futurama! The human asylum is full ever since being poor was declared a mental illness, so we send them both to the robot one

Yup, the common concern that I've heard is "AI functions as a dipshit jr dev, so we've fired all the jr devs, and sr devs who do the cleanup are now much more valuable. In 20 years, either AI will be at sr dev level and doing everything, or we will be out of devs because we fired all the entry level ones and the existing ones have aged out."

More typical "mobile game" fare than what's being recommended, but I did enjoy playing a fair amount of Sorcery Variants Daphne, if you'd like a first person dungeon crawler turn based RPG

Given what X-Men as a franchise is about, "Trust a few, fear the rest" has big "they're some of the good one vibes. Weird choice for a tagline.

And there's the issue: you CAN cool them with renewables, but it's cheaper to just use insane amounts of water.

Supposed to be, according to markering. Isn't. I think only half of SUVs sold in the US even have 4 wheel drive. This is fine because in the US most pickups and SUVs are just massive pavement princesses anyway.

Not to mention google has fought to replace real PCs in grade school computer courses with chromebooks, which are glorified tablets. Recent gens simply aren't as familiar with proper computers as phones and tablets.
