16 GB hätte ich gerne in meinem Arbeitsrechner. Wir haben Surfaces (an sich ganz geil für die Arbeit) mit 8 GB.

Getting school pictures done, dont feel like paying. They send them out with a watermark. Any tools to remove watermark that run on my machine not the web? in c/privacyguides@lemmy.one

I sync my Obsidian vault with my Nextcloid using the app "FolderSync". In Rocketbook, I can set a folder in my vault (on the nextcloud) as destination for the export. Then it syncs to Obsidian on all my devices.

Since the blackout, I only use reddit when it pops up in search results regarding a special problem. No "open reddit and scrolling" anymore. It would be stupid to 100% boycott it and make my life harder just because, but they don't get more traffic from me than necessary.

Daily: Signal, email (mostly work related) Not daily but regularly: WhatsApp, Threema Edit: I forgot MS Teams, i have to use it daily at work.

Sounds like a great idea! Your title says "Looking for help", maybe you should specify how people can help you. Do you have any knowledge in 3D modeling and want to try it yourself or is this more like a pitch of your idea so interested people can realize it?

Ich habe die Aussage "Viele Mods werden sich beugen, um ihren Status nicht zu verlieren" anfangs nicht glauben wollen. Aber deutlicher als hier können sie es ja selber kaum sagen. Traurig.

I like the system as it is here at the moment. Up-/Downvotes per Post/Comment to show the popularity (and express (dis-)approval). But nothing to collect per account, so noone gets encouraged to post just for the karma.

Gar nicht mal so idiotisch. Ein Unfall, der schlimmer ist als der schlimmste bei der Planung angenommene Unfall, ist eben noch über dem GAU. Hat OP in einem anderen Kommentar schon erklärt, ein GAU ist im Sicherheitskonzept eines KKW eingeplant und beherrschbar, ein Super-GAU nicht mehr.

Das Kabel für's Rücklicht war zu kurz für das neue Licht. Eine Verlängerung ranlöten ging damals aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht, daher habe ich zwei Leitungen mit WAGO-Klemmen rangeklemmt. Funktioniert seit mehreren Jahren, obwohl ich es schon länger mal schön machen will.
