Yeah there’s a reason these veteran guys are available midseason, and it’s not the entire NFL undervaluing them. If Wentz and Siemian were high end backups, they would’ve secured their backup jobs for the year a long time ago.

I’m sure he dies a little inside every time he has to do it, GM finally gave him a real QB just to lose him after a few plays. You could see the depression in his face the moment Rodgers went down, he knew there was another long season ahead.

Any team would’ve done the same thing if they had a desperate need at QB, money to spend, and the draft picks to make it happen.
