I completely agree, unfortunately.

The Supreme Court has made it clear they won't do anything to reign in the power of the presidency and Congress won't either.

increased tire particulates, road wear, and general pollution from the raw materials required.

Electric vehicle do wear down current tires more, and they do cause somewhat more wear on the roads ... but these are issues that can be solved by creating better, more durable tires and roads.

And the 'raw materials' do cause damage to the environment, but much less over the lifetime of the vehicle than a gas engine. And, the majority of the materials needed for the batteries can be recycled, so future vehicles will have less environmental impact.

I agree that we need a mix of vehicles and I'm most places the mass public transportation options are very lacking, but overall I think if someone needs a car, they should look for an electric one.

More milage? The Tim Burton Batman movies were wildly successful.

why not buy the dip as well?

I personally have a few reasons, the biggest is that I just don't have the time to pay attention to the market that closely, especially since my trend line for the past year puts me right where I would have been regardless to what trump has done. It's all been up and down, but the outcome is that my portfolio is exactly where it would have been at its prior growth based on the past few years.

The other reason is that if I did join in with the sell high, buy low expectation that happens whenever trump says the word 'tariff' then I'd just be another person taking money from someone else who panic sold.

And then there's also the underlying fear that I'd screw something up and end up losing a good portion of my retirement trying to be greedy.

I hope they keep everything together so it can go back on exhibit on Jan 20, 2029... but perhaps they should update it with a blurb about how the big baby made them take it down during his 2nd term.

And maybe another blurb about how daft the American pubic is to have elected him to a 2nd term.

Regardless, it would still make Hamas successful in reaching the goal of a Palestinian state. And if statehood was recognized then Hamas could immediately disarm and hand control over to the Palestinian army, which would find itself in sudden need of soldiers and leaders.

Have you seen the stock market lately? It has gained a lot! The past couple of days it has been just barely falling... as if there's a certain group of very wealthy people who are selling off and taking their profit. Now trump has to make the market tumble so they can take all that money they just pulled out and buy back in at a cheaper cost. Then he'll Taco and the market will rise again.

What sucks is that the market doesn't create money, that money is mostly our 401Ks and retirement funds and it's trump helping the wealthy siphon off our retirements.

He helped to further submarine technology to get the shots of the Titanic for the movie, and he developed cameras that could withstand the pressures down there. He also helped design a small rover camera called Snoopy that actually went inside the Titanic to get shots of the staircase.

Generally only those in and around Louisville.

It's fairly common, especially if the residents are wealthy, they just incorporate their neighborhood area.

Kentucky has a Democrat governor which is likely the reason.

It depends on the state, the insurance and even the cop who arrives on scene... but I imagine both are at fault. The Jeep for not making sure the way was clear, and the flipped vehicle for apparently going way too fast and for avoiding hitting the Jeep.

If the flipped vehicle was going significantly over the speed limit then I'd absolve the Jeep driver of any blame, except being an asshole leaving the scene of an accident and not trying to provide aid (even if that aid is just to call 911).

From the article: The Open Data Institute that I co- founded in London has taken on the challenge of international co- ordination for a new standard that gives users control over their own data. It is called Solid (for social linked data) and the technical details are controlled by W3C, the web standards consortium. Solid seeks to decentralise the web. The platform can be used to build new applications that request access to user data. This data is stored in such a way that users have complete control over it.

I don't want a new roof. I don't want a loan. I'd rather be doing something fun.

I went in and bumped up the graphics to 'High' and it is beautiful and plays great.

If you want it free from GOG you'll need to be sure you have it setup in Heroic Launcher.

I've heard that the reason Puerto Ricans can't vote is because Puerto Rico isn't a state and it is states that choose the president, not voters. But what about expats living abroad? Do they just get to pick which state gets their vote? If so, couldn't Puerto Ricans do that too?And what about people in DC? Where do their electoral college votes come from?

I'm sure I'm missing something here, I'm just not sure what.
