That's a new one. I've had people say tire but not earwax.

I haven't brewed in forever. There used to be a brew shop I would go to that was an hour from me. They closed and now the closest place is 4 hours from me so I'll probably have to order grains online.

Wrong. IPAs are delicious and you're not allowed to leave the dinner table until you finish yours.

He was given a literal month of advanced notice to do anything and managed to still act surprised when it got overturned. Democrats controlled the house and Senate when it got overturned in theory they could have passed a bill to codify it.

Clearly the best solution is to fight until the last Ukrainian. You're saying that arming and propping up an unsustainable government is peaceful, which is objectively insane. Let's say that NATO didn't arm Ukraine, Russia surrounds the capitol back in February, decapitates the government, and they surrender ceding the Donetsk and Luhansk and signing a neutrality pact. How is that objectively not more peaceful than the current meat grinder?

There is no third way in this context, either you want workers to own the means of production or you want Capitalists to. Liberals want Capitalists to, and some liberals want Capitalists to own less, but see no overall problem with the current relationship between workers and their exploited labor. Communists want workers to own the means of production by contrast, these are opposing ideologies.

I work in ecology, and yeah it's depressing. There's a really obvious solution to climate change but no one in leadership in the West is willing to say it and this will make your job feel pointless and it isn't. You can still make a difference in people's lives through other means. You're not going to fix climate change, but you can still get meaning out of the relationships you form and things you accomplish professionally. I work in a niche field of pollination ecology and my research more than likely will not "matter" but I've still setup urban public gardens, consulted with habitat enhancements for non-profits and local governments, and educated a ton of people through lecturing, mentoring, and teaching -and while that stuff isn't going to stop climate change it still matters because it matters to me and I think it's a good use of my time. And if that isn't enough remember that people love and care about you.

"Communist liberal" is incoherent nonsense. Liberalism is a capitalist ideology that promotes private ownership of the means of production, communism subsequently doesn't, they are contradictory ideologies.

I got into an argument with a guy on Reddit because he kept insisting that Taiwan was a sovereign nation and I kept telling him that Taiwan does not view Taiwan as a sovereign nation. At one point he asked me if we sold weapons to China and when I said definitionally yes he lost his shit.
