❓Les images mentales sont-elles indispensables à la reviviscence de souvenirs vivaces ?

🔍 Cette question continue d'animer les débats en recherche cognitive, et l'aphantasie pourrait bien nous aider à y répondre.

🧠 C'est donc avec grand plaisir que je vous annonce le lancement d'une étude en ligne, visant à mieux comprendre le rôle de l'imagerie mentale dans la reviviscence de souvenirs.

👨🏻‍💻 Si vous souhaitez contribuer à cette recherche, vous pouvez participer à cette étude directement de chez vous, en y consacrant environ 30 minutes de votre temps.

The research reveals that individuals with aphantasia have more symmetrical hippocampal volumes. Marks highlights that neuroanatomical asymmetry significantly influences conscious visual mental experience. It also notes that researchers do not need to switch from the VVIQ to the new brain asymmetry measure, as both correlate almost perfectly, making the latter's costly MRI scans unnecessary.
