I've never seen this one before! I love all the little fuzzy bits around it! Keep him pudgy for me!

I'm board and Lemmy needs engagement so I left this comment. Enjoy this shitty comment.

I've always wanted some Lithops. I love when you put different varieties together to get different color flowers!

That must be a sight! We definitely don't get wild succulents growing in Illinois. They almost look like a bush of daisies.

Oh wow, what a chonker! I had no idea some succulents could have female/male plants like trees.

I absolutely love the succulents that produce one gorgeous flower! Thanks for sharing!

Carcassonne is a great beginner game! And it meets a lot of your requirements as well! The board is built as you play and lends to different strategies each game. It has loads of expansions if you decide you like it, but I recommend sticking with the base game + rivers to start.

Aside from that, I recommend for beginners who want to get a better overall board game experience to check out games that are known for doing 1 game mechanic really well to help introduce the new concept and expand your boardgame genre experiences without overcomplicating things. Once you've gotten some of those down, it's much easier to dive into bigger, more complicated games that use multiple game mechanics. You'll be able to sit down and recognize each mechanic as you learn!

If you ever get to that point, I HIGHLY recommend Eclipse. It's one of my favorite games that also fits your criteria and is highly rewarding. Downsides are that it has more game mechanics to learn, it takes a while to setup, and you may need to watch a video to play it the first time. Once you've played it, it's easy to remember and you can definitely get through games in 2 hours.

I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy Carcassonne if you end up trying it out!

The dwarf jade or "portulacaria afra" you have tends to want to grow tall and has a very woody stem. This means you'll need to trim it from time to time to keep it from getting too tall. Alternatively, of you're into bonsai, it's a really good plant to learn how to trim and train a bonsai plant since it's very forgiving and grows relatively fast in comparison to non-succulent plants. Otherwise, you can trim it more like it's a bush or even train the stems to hang over the side of the pot. Aside from that, it's a pretty easy one to care for. I've accidentally left mine without water for months and found it with most of the leaves fallen off, but it always comes back to life!

You know you're in a legit bbq joint when they throw a massive slab of meat on your trey with a side of beans and charge $7
