What kind of rocks did you top the pot with? I always have a hard time finding small rocks for topping. Also I like you're lil' bitty Lithops, but that bottom right one do be lookin a bit crusty ๐คฃ
This and some other posts made me realize that I need to get more varieties with fuzz on them. They're quite adorable! Those look like some nice big healthy plants to start with for sure!
This is fantastic! I love making oleos and thing like this that use the whole fruit! If you're interested, people would love this over on !cocktails@midwest.social. Not sure if that's your intent for using it, but I definitely would!
Niceeeeeeeeeeeee
Depends on the wood. Some wood we use for spices like cinnamon so you've probably already eaten that. But other types of wood are considered toxic not only to consume, but to the plants around it. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I'm certainly no expert on the matter.
Ah that explains a lot about your posts and some of the unusual varieties you have. I hadn't seen a lot of them before and was hoping to maybe get some. But alas, I will stick with what's available in the US. They're extremely strict about importing plants here and you could even be prosecuted for trying to import plants! So I will enjoy your posts instead!
A falling knife has no handle.
I literally repeat this out loud anytime a knife falls and I think it's become my mental stopping mechanism to make sure I don't try to catch it.
Thanks! I should maybe add that I'm not a beginner, so that definitely helps with the "first" part. But I love making new recipes and this one worked so well! I think any beginner could make this if they follow along with the video to get some visual clues as to what things should look like as they make it.
Shout-out to Vexillologycirclejerk@lemmy.antemeridiem.xyz as this post would be quite suited for their flag shit posting.
How cute! They're all bundled safe for the trip! You'll have to post a progress if they take. Was this an Etsy seller or do they have a website?
Get off my lawn!!!
There, did that help?
I shit you not I have a brother laser printer that I don't even know how old it is. My dad pulled out of our basement and cleaned it up and got it running so I could use it in college back in 2009. Skip ahead to 2016 and I'm using it for the table cards at our wedding. It's 2023 and I still use it from time to time. I've only changed the toner once and cleaned it a handful of times, but that sums up the entirety of the maintenance while I've had it. I have to plug it into my computer via USB which isn't so bad. But they don't have a driver available for OSX anymore so it's now a PC only printer. I'll keep using it until it stops working or isn't compatible with any computer anymore.
