That's strange. I went to use it on my android phone and only the woman appeared. But in the sync app, there are 3 options. And if I copy/paste the pregnant man emoji from sync to messages, it works fine. So that means the code is there for Android, but they intentionally hide it? I wonder why. Maybe they think it's too weird?

From what I understand, the US is actively investing in the Mexican economy right now in order to both shift our manufacturing reliability away from China and also to provide economic stability in Mexico to shift power away from the cartels. Please take this with a grain of salt as I do not remember where I read this and cannot provide a source. But from what I recall, the long term plan is to setup manufacturing in Mexico for the above reasons with the bonus of reducing shipping costs, time, and shipment vulnerability. I really hope it works, because if you think about it, it just makes sense all around. If we make Mexico our biggest trade partner, we both benefit in big ways. And the more options people have in Mexico for jobs, the less they have to rely on the cartel.

Aside from that, I used to agree that legalizing drugs would take the market away from the cartels, but then you have to remember that the cartels have since diversified. So stop eating Haas avocados??? I don't know, I'm just a graphic designer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This study isn't really about kinds of protein, it's more about different protein products and the amount of micro plastic in relation to the amount of processing. If it was just about kinds of protein, then the chart would just say "chicken" or "soybeans" instead of "plant based nugget" or "chicken breast". Very eye opening about breaded shrimp. I would have assumed those were no worse off than a fish stick, but apparently they're worse than chicken nuggets. In the end this just goes to reiterate that the more processed something is, the more sus it is to eat :/

That was a good article with lots of great sources. But my tinfoil hat is telling me that all of these large companies demanding return to office aren't doing it because "beliefs". They're doing it because the people have gained too much power in the last few years and this is the strategy to put them back in their place. Lay people off in hordes while interest is skyrocketing and demand more from them if they want to keep their jobs. Make them afraid and vulnerable so we can control them better. But again... that's the tinfoil hat talking.

My school has a system where you could only choose eligible books and each book had a pre-assigned amount of points it was worth based on reading level/pages/etc and you would have to take a quiz to make sure you read the book. So I did the opposite and I read 3 really big books worth 40pts each and only had to take 3 quizzes which for some reason were the same amount of questions as lower level books. Wasn't enough to beat the kids that actually enjoyed reading and read a crap ton of books for fun, but at least I was able to get free tickets to 6 flags each year.

I am firmly of the belief that most of the issues in the meat/dairy industry would be resolved if everyone simply consumed less of them as opposed to becoming vegan. That's how I live my life and I've gotten praises from doctors and nutrition specialists about my diet. Exercise is another thing tho....

There are very well written rules in the landlord-tenant ordinance about how to submit notice and it works both ways. So if no one received notice, then they didn't do it per Chicago landlord-tenant ordinance. I found this out when I was researching how to submit to my landlord for repairs so that I could legally deduct from the rent. It's all spelled out for everyone in that handy document and it's the same for all of Chicago.
